How is the container delivered and how much space is required? Containers are delivered on a "tilt-bed" truck for 20' containers while the 40' containers are delivered on a tilt-bed trailer. Once the container is backed into position and tilted down, the truck or trailers drives out from under the container. For a 20' storage container, about 75 feet of straight clearance is needed.See 20' Video For a 40' storage container, the truck and trailer will need about 150 feet.See 40' Video top Can I buy a container I am renting? Yes, however, two things you need to know. 1 - Your account must be current. 2 - Prior rental payments do not affect the purchase price. top What is your delivery area? NH, MA, and parts of Maine and Vermont. top Is there any site prep ? The site should be fairly level and firm. We have delivered on grass, dirt, cement, and pavement. top How long will delivery take once I order a container? We strive to deliver storage containers to fit our customer’s needs. We have delivered many containers on the same day as they are ordered but suggest that you allow a day or two if possible. top Do I have to be present for the delivery? We highly recommend that an authorized representative be there for delivery. If that is not possible, other arrangements can be made. Please talk to customer service to arrange such a delivery. top Are storage containers watertight? Our containers are completely enclosed to offer wind and water protection. However, when the air outside the container gets cooler than the air inside, a small amount of condensation may occur and we recommend covering valuable items with plastic for added protection. top Is there I minimum or maximum rental period? There is no minimum time rental period but there be a minimum monthly charge. top What type of Payment is required? At time of delivery we require payment of the initial rental period - whether monthly or annual - as well as the delivery and pickup charges. top Do you have shelving? We can provide 24” shelving brackets but the customer normally supplies the shelving material which consist of three 2X8’s by your desired shelf length. top What color are the containers? Our containers are a very nice shade of "Fortin Grey". top Can a ground level container be moved loaded? Presently, we do not move containers when they are loaded. top |
